Od 16. do 19 siječnja 2020., profesorice V. gimnazije koje vode novi Erasmus+ projekt LOOP – Living Opportunities for Our Planet (2019.-2022.), Svjetlana Vorel i Sanja Vrhovec Vučemilović boravile su na otoku Cipru. Sudjelovale su na 1. projektnom sastanku koji je organizirao partner iz ciparske gimnazije u Omodosu. Koordinator projekta je A’ tehnička škola iz Limassola. Uz našu i ciparske škole u projektu na temu kružnog gospodarstva i obrazovanja (redizajn, redukcija, recikliranje, ponovna upotreba) sudjeluju i škole Bruno-Franchetti iz Venecije Mestre te Liceo Vittorini iz Gele na Siciliji. Ostali partneri su: FEEM (Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei), Obrazovna agencija CivicaMente i Rudarsko-geološko-naftni fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Na sastanku se razgovaralo o etapama projekta, novim metodama digitalnog učenja i poučavanja koje će se primjenjivati tijekom projekta, uključivanju učenika i očekivanim ishodima i postignućima u povezivanju obrazovanja i utjecaja/primjene kružnog gospodarstva na život na Zemlji. Projekt se temelji na Agendi za održivi razvoja UN do 2030. U sklopu rada na projektu profesori su još posjetili gradove Pafos i Larnaku.
First LOOP Erasmus+ TPM on Cyprus
From January 16 to 19, 2020, V. gimnazija teachers working on the new Erasmus+ project LOOP – Living Opportunities for Our Planet (2019-2022), Svjetlana Vorel and Sanja Vrhovec Vučemilović visited the island of Cyprus. They participated in the 1st project meeting organised by the Cypriot high school in Omodos. The project coordinator is A’ Technical School in Limassol. In addition to V. gimnazija Zagreb and the Cypriot schools, our partners in the project dealing with circular economy and education (redesign, reduction, recycling, reuse) are also the schools Bruno-Franchetti from Venice Mestre and Liceo Vittorini of Gela in Sicily. Other partners are: FEEM (Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei), the Education Agency CivicaMente and the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Zagreb. At the meeting, the stages of the project were discussed as well as the application of new digital learning and teaching methods in the project, student participation and expected outcomes in linking education and the impact of circular economy on life on Earth. The project is based on the UN Sustainable Development Agenda 2030. During their stay the teachers also visited the cities of Paphos and Larnaca.
